Yet another local Tea Party organizer in Middle Tennessee is exposed for not paying taxes.
(MURFREESBORO, Tenn.) - Christian Hidaglo hates paying taxes. He hates them so much he organizes local Republicans to protest paying them in what they call Tea Parties. Now documents show the Tea Party organizer owes over $80,000 in state and federal tax liens stretching over a 10-year period.
For several years, Hidalgo has not paid portions of both state and federal taxes, forcing both the state and federal government to spend time and resources to issue several liens against his property and assets. Government authorities can seize property and assets of individuals with liens for unpaid taxes.
Where he intends to get the money he owes our government is anyone’s guess, but you can calculate below what your share of his slack will be if he decides to leave you and me on the hook:

At Tea Party protests organized by Hidalgo, protesters are encouraged to demand the government give back tax money their own leader never bothered to pay in the first place. Hidalgo actually has the nerve to claim to support our troops in a time of war, while blatantly denying them his share that pays for their security and their health care. And his protest doesn’t end there.
Hidalgo readily admits on his Murfreesboro business’s website that he has “no formal business education.” What his clients don’t know is that their businesses help fund and share a server with a website run by Hidalgo that operates in violation of federal election law.
The website, DumpBartGordon.com, is registered to Christian Hidalgo and is hosted on the same Navigation Advertising server that some of his company’s clients share, exposing respected local companies to legal risk. Federal rules explicitly state guidelines for websites that target individual candidates for federal office, including rules for individual and corporate involvement.
Hidalgo is the second local Tea Party organizer to have been found not paying taxes. National Tea Party organizer and Williamson County Republican Michael Patrick Leahy was recently exposed as having over $100,000 in tax liens and court ordered judgements against him.

Never underestimate what someone with “no formal business education” can screw up. We’re just getting over 8 years of it. Our country is the greatest country on earth because we pay for it. Hidalgo should think about setting up shop in Africa if he doesn’t want to pay his share of America.
I don’t know how many years you have to live on welfare to suck that much money out of the tax payer’s coffers, but Hidalgo is one fat welfare Queen if I’ve ever seen one. How much would our share of his taxes be if he decides to leave us all on the hook?
This isn’t the Rutherford Democratic Party I grew up with in Rutherford County. The mean spirited attacks first on public officials now on private citizens need to stop. Jonathan as our Chairman you have failed us with your un-Christian values in the political arena. It is my hope and prayer that you will reconsider your actions. You said we are a party of hard working and God loving values. Please demonstrate that on our website. We can disagree without getting personal and vindictive. Stop the personal attacks.
Rutherford Dems tended to elect people for years to the position of Chair that took the title seriously and sat down and stayed quiet way to often. What kind of mess would we be in if our Pastors did that while wicked lies and thieves rule the day? That’s what has happened here and we’re losing to people with no morals who will do anything to trick the voters.
Thank God for Jonathon Fagan for not sitting down. Facts are the truth and truth is the language of God. The more the truth is brought to light the more the Devil and his liars are defeated. God doesn’t do that for you. People with courage who exercise His will do. People who pedal lies, saying one thing while doing another at great cost to the tax payers, are now on notice because someone has the will to stand up and defeat it. God helps those who help themselves and thank God Jonathon is helping himself to public documents that shed light on the truth.
People in glass houses should not throw stones. You are forgetting, each of you sat by while Timothy Geithner was appointed leader of the IRS. This will be fun, if this is how we are going to play. I am ready and I have the database.
Is Timothy Geithner from Murfreesboro or something? Vonda, if you have a database of local people cheating or stealing from the tax payers, open it up and let’s stop cowering from the light out of fear someone close to us might exposed in the process. If we’ve got rotten apples then its time they find another party. Fire away!
Hey, by the way vonda, Timothy Geithner was not appointed “leader of the IRS”. He’s Secretary of the Treasury. How much more moronic can these tea partiers get?
By the way, notice the fact that these tea party loons are now reduced to defending themselves by saying “its alright because Obama’s cabinet did it too.” Someone said something about glass houses, maybe they should not have “cast the first stone”
Joseph, who do you think is head of the IRS?

vonda,
who is head of the IRS you ask? here, let me help you -

And we will be faithful stewards of our freedoms of equality, religion and expression so that men and women of all races and faiths can live, follow their beliefs, and express their views without fear of discrimination or reprisal.
Vonda, Christian Hidalgo has taken on a self-appointed public role for the Rutherford County Republicans organizing political protests against paying taxes. He grabs the microphone at street protests he organizes. He offers himself to be quoted in our newspapers, on our TV, our radio and the web. I don’t see anything wrong with that at all. I encourage him to continue his new public role complaining about how he’s paying too much in taxes. He’s the perfect leader for that cause, isn’t he? Can anyone suggest anyone better than Christian Hidalgo?
Sure public records show Hidalgo hasn’t paid nearly enough of his fair share in taxes, but that’s what makes Christian Hidalgo the perfect example for the community of what the Rutherford County Republican Party is all about. The First Amendment is a lot like rope around the neck of fools who are happy to exercise the right to remind us what complete morons they are. You know what I mean? I bet you do
The point is, the public records had to researched by someone on purpose to try to disqualify his right as a citizen of the US. I think that is wrong. Are you suggesting, only the perfect have the right to disagree? It’s funny you would say rope around the neck of fools.
This is Christian. Thank you Sardon and Vonda. To set the record straight I’ve never personally attacked any Democrat intentionally. I’ve only attacked their policies I disagreed with. I’ve never said we should not pay taxes, only that our taxes are too high and should not go higher. That we must stop the massive debt being accrued by this administration and those before it. If you’ve ever been to a Tea Party you’d know there is plenty of criticism for previous administrations for their deficit spending. I’m not proud of my back taxes but I’ve faithfully paid them down over the years. I’ve never evaded my taxes and have always filed. None of you know the circumstances that led to my situation but I can assure you it was not voluntary or malicious. When I first started volunteering in the Tea Party movement I told those at the meetings I would not participate if it involved personal attacks. To my knowledge, no one there has ever personally attacked Obama, Gordon or the Democrats - only their policies. I’m sure you don’t believe I can’t participate in the public debate because I have tax issues. If so,that would disqualify millions of Americans. While this is embarrassing to me personally, I trust that when you get older you will look back and regret your actions from today. I’m glad to discuss the issues anytime.
Oh Christian, you’ve done far more than “only attacked their policies I disagreed with.” You’ve taken it upon yourself not to pay taxes to fund these American policies passed by Congress while you publicly claim to everyone that you have.
I don’t think anyone has a problem with you complaining about the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act that increased funding for veterans health care, provides extended unemployment benefits to our growing unemployed, and put millions into our schools, roads and retraining workers. Everyone needs a fool to point to as an example of the opposition. What I have a problem with you pretending you’ve paid anywhere near your share like the rest of us have while complaining that the government owes you a single dime. Thank God for the recorded truth and the Devil’s fool.
Christian,
I guess the debt you are ccomplaing about (which increased 3 fold during the Bush years with a Republican Congress) becomes even more of a debt when folks like you don’t pay their taxes and the government has to spend time and money (that could go to our soldiers) chasing you down and printing paperwork to get you to pay your fair share like everybody else. From these documents, you didn’t pay your taxes from 1996 until now. You didn’t pay taxes during the Republican Revolution and 8 years of a Republican president. You didn’t even pay taxes when our troops were charging into Baghdad with inadequate body armor and broken down hum-v’s. You and your tea party friends are such patriots! Go on and party some more on our dime!
The RCDP has degenerated into pure scum. These personal attacks are nothing short of disgusting. No wonder you will lose power, once again, faster than you got it. Fools never learn. Totally out of touch with reality and the people.
Trace,
Nice name-calling yourself. I guess we are real scum to republicans like you because we pay our taxes. I guess we really are out of touch with YOUR reality.
Sorry to burst your bubble, but I’m not a Republican. Ever think I may be a disgusted Democrat? Disgusted with the personal attacks, “do anything to win” tactics, raping of the treasury, a “president” that spent more in his first 50 days in office than all other presidents combined?
The party has gone way left Marxist. It’s robbing the country blind. Tea Parties are a mixture of Democrats and Repubs (along with others) who are sick and tired of the nonsense from both parties. For the uninformed RCDP to continuously put out false propaganda that Tea Parties are Republican events just demonstrates continuously how uninformed and out of touch you guys really are.
Trace, why don’t you stop your whining and educate yourself a little. There is absolutely nothing personal about reporting public documents. Do you think Hidalgo meant anything personal by not paying his taxes? Do you think the federal government meant anything personal by issuing tax liens? Do you even understand this very public and documented process? Do you think every story in the news based on a police report is a personal attack against the featured criminal? The victims deserve their story told and the public deserves the truth about those victimizing them. We are $80,000 in the hole because of one man who happens to protest against funding our government. Why not try to be the Democratic Party you want to see and retract your nasty comment? This is a place for a discussion of the facts, not the personal.
Now, that we have gone through the last 18 months or so…Are ya good? Seriously….Are ya!
