Over 50 people came together tonight over dinner for the first monthly meeting of the Rutherford County Democratic Party. The meeting took place upstairs at the 100+ years old City Cafe in Murfreesboro, TN.
Several of those who attended shared stories about our party’s rich history and an excitement about a new energy they feel moving our party and our state forward. We see it in the faces of those who have been actively involved for decades and the new faces of our party’s future. We see the path to a 2010 victory.
Tonight was about coming together as Democrats, sharing a meal and looking ahead to the change we are bringing to Rutherford County and the state of Tennessee.
